Season start 2023

We started our season with our annual 7's tournaments.

Men's and Women's football 7's was held on April 15th in Limerick.

Winners included:

Men’s division 1: Delco Gaels

Ladies: Notre Dames

Men’s division 2: Delco Gaels


Hurling and Camogie 7's were held the following week on April 22nd.

Winners included: Hurling division 1: Jersey Shore

Hurling division 2: Delco Gaels Camogie: Baltimore


Thank you to the teams that traveled to play in our annual 7's tournaments.


We started out regular season with our local tournaments. Beginning with the Bill Drake Cup, which started on Sunday May 7th, the final was held on Saturday May 13th with Donegal defeating the Young Irelands 2-10 t0 1-12.

Up next was the Jim Harvey Cup, games began Sunday May 21.

The final will be held on Saturday June 3rd at 4:00 pm in Limerick between Donegal and Delco Gaels.


Our hurling A league began on Sunday May 7th with a win for the Allentown Hibernians with a score of 4-16 to a 2-14 to Jersey Shore,

Our hurling B league began the following week on May 13th, South Jersey Rebels playing the Delco Gaels.

Sunday May 21st, hurling B league South Jersey defeated Na Toraidhe with a score of 3-08 to 1-04.

Hurling A league with Na Toraidhe beating Jersey Shore with a score of 6-15 to 1-17.

Our ladies football will start their season on Wednesday May 31st with a 7 pm game with Notre Dames v. Delco Gaels.


On April 30th Glenside Gaelic hosted a first ever invitational U17 tournament at the Limerick fields, Boys and girls teams from Glenside, Delco Gaels and Boston had some incredible competition.


The Delco Gaels started the our youth season off to a great start by hosting their annual blitz, held at Line road fields on May 20th. Teams from Glenside, Gaels and Jersey Shore represented. A great day was had by all. up next is Jersey Shore's youth tournament on June 3rd in South Jersey from 10 am-2 pm. Donegal GFC has begun a youth club, they begin training on June 6. They will also be hosting a day camp July 10-14. For further information: https://www.donegalphilly.com


We are looking forward to a full season of football, hurling and camogie. Please keep up to date on our events on our webpage, and all social accounts.We welcome spectators to our beautiful field at any time. We ask for a $10 gate fee to held uphold the maintenance of our field.
